Swedish Lapland
The Swedish Haute Route
A Nordic Haute Route through Sweden's highest mountains.

There are no large lift stations or alpine villages between the stages here. Instead: broad valleys, remote mountain huts, long touring days and the feeling of actually moving through the landscape.
We travel in toward Sälka by snowmobile and continue on skis through the area around Nallo, Tarfala and Kebnekaise. This is a journey for anyone who values the travelling as much as the skiing.
The journey
After the transport in toward Sälka, six days on skis through the Kebnekaise massif begin.
The planned line runs Sälka → Nallo → Tarfala → Kebnekaise, with room to choose summits, cols and alternative lines according to snow and weather.
The content of each day is not decided by the map alone. In this area wind, visibility and snow distribution can change the character of the terrain quickly, so we keep flexibility through the whole week.
