Senja — ski touring by the sea
Senja has a rhythm entirely of its own.

The mountains rise straight out of the sea and many tours begin close to the shoreline. Within a relatively small area there are open mountainsides, big bowls, narrower passages and a great many options for weather and snow.
It is a good place for a ski week where the plan is allowed to take shape day by day.
The journey
We keep one fixed base and choose the tour according to current conditions. The aim is not to collect a certain number of summits; the aim is to use the area well.
That means we sometimes change the plan late, move to the other side of the island, or pick a less obvious tour when it gives better snow or better margins.
